Travel support is offered from three sources as listed below. When applying for travel support, please check the appropriate box on the abstract form. It is possible to apply to several sources simultaneously, however, if granted, you will receive support from only one source.

Please read the instructions below before applying for a travel support. You will be informed about the outcome of your application after May 15th.

 

Travel support for young researchers who are members of the ERRS

The ERRS and the organisers of ERR2010 will offer a number of travel support grants for ERRS members who are aged 35 or below. The support is 500 €.

The deadline for submission is May 15th 2010. The application should be sent together with the abstract submission form to err2010@gmt.su.se and should contain:

- An application letter addressed to Andrzej Wojcik,

- A one page CV of the applicant with reference to a maximum of three published papers,

- A recommendation letter from the supervisor/head of unit.

 

Supper for PhD students who are members of the Swedish Society for Radiation Biology - SFR

The SFR Council is happy to announce that it will provide 5 travel support grants to PhD students who are members of the SFR. The support is 3000 SEK (equivalent to 300 €).

The deadline for submission is May 15th 2010. The application should be sent together with the abstract submission form to err2010@gmt.su.se and should contain:

- An application letter addressed to Andrzej Wojcik,

- A one page CV of the applicant with reference to a maximum of three published papers,

- A recommendation letter from the supervisor/head of unit.

 

Support for PhD students from Nordic countries

PhD students who are registered at a university in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland or Denmark can apply for a travel grant through the Nordic Nuclear Safety Research - NKS. Please find more information here. Applicants should contact Justin Gwynn directly for further information. Please dot not send these applications to us, but inform us about it by checking the appropriate box in the registration form.
